In 2016, I drew my first mandala on lined paper with only a mechanical pencil as a high school freshman. At the time, I was bored in study hall and drew to pass the time. It became a regular pastime, and after a series of grey pencil drawings, I began using colored pencils and actual sketching paper. Since then, I have improved my color blending, precision, and design skills.
